BASICALLY, the only thing really of concern with Cisco is can he 4th wall your character/your character's canon. He's a big pop culture junkie so he references a lot of movies, tv, classic video games, and comics. I need to know what level of reference you're comfortable with, and I will always check with you, the player, first.
TOTALLY FINE. Go ahead and say he knows about Star Trek.
PARALLEL ALTERNATIVE CANON. Say he knows Schmoobie Roo instead of Scoobie Doo.
OLD SCHOOL ONLY. Reference the Classic Doctor Who, but not the 2005 revival.
STAY AWAY. No 4th walling whatsoever.
